Charles Chauncey Havens
Patriot & Historian of the American Revolution
After a successful career in shipping, Charles Havens retired to Trenton to pursue his passion for history. He became a "true patriot" by researching and publishing the most authentic accounts of the Battle of Trenton and the Battle of the Assunpink Creek. His work, including "Annals of the City of Trenton," provided the community with an accurate legacy of George Washington’s movements during the Revolutionary War.
